The durian session has begun for sometimes. Should you have left over durian, you can think of to this Durian Butter Cake. |
Ingredients:
250g Butter |
200g Low Gluten Flour, Sieved |
200g Caster Sugar |
5 Eggs |
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder |
1/4 Teaspoon Sodium Bicarbonate |
50g Custard Powder |
150g Durian Flesh |
4 Tablespoon Milk |
40g Medium Gluten Flour, Sieved |
Method:
Prepare the ingredients as shown on the right. | |||
Blend the durian flesh with milk. | |||
Add the medium gluten flour into the durian mixture and mix well. | |||
Cream the butter and sugar in the mixing bowl and beat until light and fluffy. | |||
Add the beaten eggs gradually and beat tills well combined. | |||
Add the durian mixture and mix till well combined. | |||
Sieved and stir in the low gluten flour, Sodium Bicarbonate, custard powder and baking flour until the ingredients are just combined. | |||
Pile the mixture into non-stick cake tin and baked for 45 minutes at 180 degree Celsius, or until the cake is risen and golden. Also, use a skewer inserted into the center and ensure comes out clean. |
